You’re invited to Cape Cod Roller Derby’s Jingle & Roll! Do you miss skating? Hanging out with other derby folks? Just want to get out of the house for the night? Join us for a holiday-themed night of skating! We’ll provide the music and venue, you bring your gear and wear something festive. Prize awarded for best dressed!

 

We will cap attendance at 30 skaters, so use the form below to sign-up now!

Requirements:

  • Ages 18+ only.

  • Must have personal medical insurance.

  • Must wear the following safety gear: helmet, hard-shell wrist guards, elbow and knee pads. Mouth guards are optional.

  • Must wear a properly-fitting face mask (covering nose and mouth). 

  • Some skating experience is required. You should feel comfortable skating in a roller rink and know how to stop safely.

  • Must agree that you are not experiencing any signs of illness and that you have no known exposure to illness over the past 10 days.

 

What to bring:

  • CCRD will not be offering loaner gear. Bring your own: skates, mask, helmet, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads. Mouth guards are recommended, but optional. 

  • Water.

 

What NOT to bring:

  • Food. For safety purposes, please do not consume food in the gym. There are many restaurants nearby if you’d like to get food before or afterwards!


Safety:

  • All skaters must place their gear and water bottles at least 6-feet apart from others.

  • Masks must be worn at all times while indoors on the Cape Cod Community College campus. See the CCCC Mask Policy here: https://www.capecod.edu/coronavirus/mask-requirements-for-fall-2021/ 

  • Masks may only be removed at CCCC under the following circumstances:

    • To drink or to insert/remove mouthguards provided that individuals can maintain 6 feet of distance from others;

    • While outside provided that individuals can maintain 6 feet of distance from others.

  • Do not attend if you are experiencing any sign of illness including but not limited to: cough, fever, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell. 

  • Do not attend if any of their household members are experiencing signs of illness.
